Originally released in 1991, Guaranteed marked a pivotal transition for Level 42 following the loss of guitarist Alan Murphy and the departure of several long‑standing members. The album blends the band’s signature jazz‑funk sophistication with polished pop‑rock songwriting, showcasing Mark King’s unmistakable bass work and the group’s evolving sound.
This expanded Music On Vinyl edition brings the album to vinyl for the first time, featuring the original ten tracks plus ten bonus recordings including B‑sides, remixes and live cuts. Pressed on 180‑gram silver & black marbled vinyl and limited to 2000 individually numbered copies, it includes black poly‑lined inners and a 4‑page booklet.
