Mid-Century Modern Dainty Organza Sheer Apron, Strawberry Applique

VINTAGE WOMEN'S APRON

Dainty and sweet vintage mid-century modern women's apron measuring about 21" in length -- front panel is about 11" across, not including the long ties which are about 31" in length. Featuring charming strawberry and leaves appliques on the skirt edge as well as the stomach panel, fabric is sheer and crisp, designed to be worn after the cooking was completed and the food was being served.

Condition is very nice although it is wrinkled from storage -- there is a tiny area of repair on the front below the strawberry applique - probably from catching the apron on a knob or similar - does not detract a bit and is hidden by the gathered folds. Think this is such a charming vintage apron - hails to a different era when meals were designed to be nicely presented, savored and enjoyed. Lovely addition to any collection or display!
