Item Description:

This auction is for an old booklet called - Official Report of the History Committee of the Grand Camp of Confederate Veterans, Department of Virginia by Hon. Geo. L. Christian, Chairman. Read at Newport News VA October 28th, 1904 and published by Order of the Grand Camp of Virginia, North Carolina and Virginia in the Civil War, Confederate Veteran (Nashville) for April, 1904. 

The booklet measures 9.25" x 6.1". The outside shows moderate wear with some staining/discoloration along with some edge and corner wear. You can see that the book has been folded at some point and all pages have a fold line running down the center. On the front you can see where someone wrote something and what looks like a name (see pictures 4 & 5). There are 25 numbered pages inside. They show some wear and discoloration from age and there is some corner wear and corner folds. The two staples holding the pages in do have some rust on them (see last picture).
