This is a Complete Tiburon/Cortez Conversions upgrade on a Penn Jigmaster 500. The 500 is the most common Penn Reel and is still being made today. But the 500 is now made in China. This particular reel is anything but common. It has been upgraded beautifully. The only thing left that is actual Penn parts are the internals and the star drag. This reel was assembled and serviced by Revive Reels. A 3-stack of Carbon Drags was installed, and every moving part has been greased with Cal's reel grease, both purple and tan, along with every screw. It has a great freespool and very little boat rash. Please see the pictures, as I tried to capture any imperfections. The Cortez Conversions side plates come with a clicker.

This reel has not been fished since it's rebuild. With a top-notch service and the plethora of upgrades, obviously, this reel works better now than when it was brand new.
