In The Fade (Aus dem Nichts) is the award‑winning 2017 drama written and directed by Fatih Akin, starring Diane Kruger in a career‑defining role.
Akin, a long‑time Queens Of The Stone Age fan, approached Joshua Homme during the mixing of Villains to compose the film’s score — resulting in a set of atmospheric, experimental and emotionally charged pieces unlike anything in Homme’s catalogue.
The soundtrack also includes songs by Faith No More, Courtney Barnett, Queens Of The Stone Age, Lykke Li and Hindi Zahra, making it a rich and varied listening experience.
This Music On Vinyl edition is pressed on 180‑gram audiophile crystal clear vinyl, housed in a deluxe heavyweight sleeve with leather laminate, includes a 4‑page booklet, and comes in a PVC protective sleeve.
