1959 Press Photo Gaynell Vincent & Kathy Bowman won a Delta Kappa Gamma contest

This is an original press photo. Gaynell Vincent, right, Dominican High school senior, is the winner of a recent citywide speech contest conducted by the Pi chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma society. She will receive a $25 savings bond for her composition on "Teaching as a Challenging Career." Kathy Bowman, another Dominican student, won honorable mention in the contest. The girls were incorrectly identified in a photograph of two other girls in Saturday's States-Item.Photo measures 8.25 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated 4-14-1959.
