The FR-55, a long-selling model that appeared from the early days of the FR series and remained in the lineup until around 2003, undergoing several model changes, is one of the most iconic FR models!

This is the very first specification, a left-handed FR-55 from the late 1980s.

This FR-55 from this era features a 24-inch short scale! While there were other short-scale models from the same period, such as the BSV and BX, in the history of the FR series, all models except this one and the 1990 FR-50 are long-scale, making this a rare short-scale FR. It features a body-crusher locking tremolo and SSH-style pickups, outputting a straightforward rock sound! The front pickup has been replaced with a "Wilkinson High Output." Try this valuable, increasingly popular Japanese-made Fernandes guitar!

Overall, there are scratches, dents, and tarnishing and rust on the metal parts. The truss rod is functioning well, with ample adjustment range in both forward and reverse directions.

There is slight wear on the frets, but there is still plenty of height left, and it does not affect playability.
