Duke Ellington described Ella Fitzgerald as "beyond category." That certainly was also true of The Voice. This item is almost a thousand pages about the second half of this man's very rich life. There is a bit of idolatry and plentiful superlatives in these pages, most of it deserved, because nobody could put a song over like this guy, and nobody was as influential (and he was the first to acknowledge those that he idolized and thought of as models). Once Sinatra recorded it, the territory was within his jurisdiction for good.
Everyone is in this account, and everyone was deeply touched by him and his generosity.
Minor wear. No markings, stains, inscriptions, or missing pages.
