Onceone person is in the overhead space the person belowshould close the access ladder to remove sometension in the springs. With the person below holdingthe accessladder closed,the person in the overheadspace should carefully remove one spring only andreplace it with the new spring.2.Once one spring has been replaced,the remainingspring can be removed and replaced following theprocedure in step 1.3.The person below can now open the accessladderand the person in the overhead space can exit.
