BID WITH CONFIDENCE, I HAVE OVER 4,000 POSITIVE FEEDBACK
Due to changes in trade with the USA, all mail from the UK must now be sent by a Tracked service or it risks being returned or destroyed within the USA customs service. International Standard mail to the USA is now not accepted by Royal Mail, hence the increase in postal charges to America for which I apologise, but it is beyond my control. Customs charges and taxes may also have increased. Please make yourself aware of any additional costs/changes in tariffs and only bid if you are prepared to pay these. Thank you.
Note for EU customers – It is with deep
regret that I have decided to no longer sell my items to customers in
Europe. The many obstacles being placed
in the way of selling, particularly to the EU, since the UK left the EU are
becoming so time consuming to overcome that it is no longer cost effective or
easily manageable for a small sole trader such as myself. I did not vote for
Brexit because I could foresee that sending items to Europe would not be easy
due to customs etc. but, I carried on selling, despite losing many customers
over the years. However, further
obstacles are now being put in my way such as mandatory product identifiers and
a recent email saying that despite my compliance with German package waste
rules already, I now have to have an authorised representative in Germany to
handle waste packaging matters at great expense. This was the final straw.
Thank you to all my past European customers – I think I am one of
many UK sellers that no longer have the time or energy to deal with these
unwanted Brexit implications.
