Memphis bass guitar in black (disassembled). Vintage 1980s Korean-made Precision Bass style instrument.

Unlike modern budget basses made of multi-piece "mystery wood," these 80s Korean models are known for solid construction and stable necks.

Memphis was an import brand distributed in the US from the mid-1970s through the mid-1990s. These P-Bass copies offered the classic Fender Precision look and feel at an affordable price point, making them popular as starter basses and beater instruments.
