Material: Heavy gauge stamped steel construction and two stage heat dissipating finish, to ensure longer service life and stronger performance.

Applications: Fits For most 1982-2007 Dodge A518 (46RH, 46RE), For A618 (For 47RH, For 47RE, For 48RE) and For A727 (For 36RH, For 37RH) transmissions.

Function: This Filter Extender 14010 is available for transmission pan that will lower the filter 1 inch deeper into the pan, and allow proper oil pickup from pan.

Reduces fluid temperatures 20-50°F and increases fluid capacity.

Package includes: 1x5/32” Allen Wrench, 1xO-ring, 1x Transmission Filter Extender(Spacer Block), 5xFlat Washer, and 2 sets of bolts(6xbolts).

 

Installation:

Be careful when removing because the filter will still have fluid inside.

1. Using a lint free rag, wipe the oil off the valve body mounting surface. 

2. Install the O-ring provided in the groove of the transmission filter extender. 

3. After determining which length bolts are necessary for your transmission, install the bolts through the provided washers. 

4. Using a 5 32” Allen Wrench, tighten the bolts. 

5. Torque the bolts to a maximum of 14 inch pounds. 

6. Install transmission pan and fluid.

Note:

Be careful when removing because the filter will still have fluid inside.
