New .4mm Amiga 500 Keyboard Membrane. US shipper! No tariff guessing!


I needed a few so I went ahead and ordered extras. 

Here's a brand new membrane for your A500 keyboard. Make sure you check your existing membrane before you order this one. While it fits most of the A500s out there, it only matches up with the the Mitsumi 56 A619A and (E) A619B. The big thing about these membranes are they are .4mm in height. Most online options are .6mm in height. While the .2mm difference does not seem like much, you will see it immediately when you try to connect the header. It is common with the .6 versions you need to 'force' it into the connector. These .4 mm slide in oh so much easier and are a closer match to the originals. You'd think making them smaller would mean they'd cost less. Nope. Just the opposite. It is more work for the manufacturer so they charged me more.

Not sure how to replace a membrane? A quick search on YouTube will show about a half dozen assembly/disassembly videos. 

These will be super packed in cardboard. The actual weight of the membrane is less than an ounce. With that, same shipping costs regardless of your order quantity. Order 1? that's $11 to ship. Order 3? that $11 to ship. Order 9? that $11 to ship. 

Normally I offer a 30 day return window on my retro gear. Up comes another nope. These can be damaged or bent depending how you man-handle them during the install. Since you are not replacing them in front of me I cannot tell if any damage is factory original or because you let your 7yr old try to install it. So plan accordingly.
