Poster Concept Artwork for Star Wars Original Trilogy 20th Anniversary Re-Release (ca. 1996). Original poster concept artwork photostat page of preliminary concept sketches made by Luis Russo for the 20th Anniversary Special Edition re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy accomplished on 27.7x 21.5 cm paper using acrylic, ink and pastel elements. While the artwork on this is printed and was most likely created by the artist as reference, part of the annotations are actually hand written(not printed!!!). In this case- the annotations on the right are done in actual pencil + some other minor annotations! The rest is printed!

This design was official commissioned for the posters used for the Special Edition re-release but was ultimately not selected. Comes with copy of the COA from Heritage Auctions which will be sent as a scan!
