Antique Korean Celadon Crane and Snake Style Bowl, Artist Signature 1950s

Beautiful Korean Celadon style ceramic bowl, in mint condition. This outstanding piece, featuring a very light green glaze characteristic of celadon, features delicate embossed patterns. On the body of the bowl, a crane and a snake-like pattern can be distinguished three times, evoking the richness of Asian iconography.

The bowl rests on a stylish wooden base, included in the sale.

Beneath the coin, an artist's signature stylized in blue is featured, suggesting a potentially contemporary or mid-20th century (around the 1950s) origin, in homage to ancient techniques and styles of the Goryeo Dynasty.

This bowl is a true representation of Korean ceramic art and would make a valuable addition to any collection of Asian art or fine decorative items.
