RARE Vintage New in the Box ACE #72112 1/72 Scale Soviet BMP-2 Amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicle, 1st Release produced by ACE with their brand new tooling in 2001.

This model features decals for 4 vehicles:
  1. BMP-2 with the Soviet Army Guard Unit in Moscow, November Parade at Red Square in 1982.
  2. BMP-2 with the East German Army.
  3. BMP-2 with the Czechoslovak Army.
  4. BMP-2 with the Free Kuwaiti Army during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
The BMP-2 is an amphibious infantry fighting vehicle introduced in the 1980s in the Soviet Union, following on from the BMP-1 of the 1960s. Over 35,000 of these vehicles have been produced in the USSR and other countries, and it has been in service since 1980. These vehicles have been used in nearly every war since 1980, and are used by countries throughout Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.
