This is an authentic Japanese Chuzao (medium neck) shamisen.
Size
The size is the standard "Seisun" length. The total length is 98.5cm, and the upper neck width is approximately 2.69cm.
Condition
Please note that there is a tear on the back skin of the body, and some stains are present on the front skin. However, despite the tear, the instrument still produces a beautiful, clear sound as shown in the video. You can choose to replace the skin for professional performance or enjoy playing it as it is. The neck and tuning pegs are in relatively good condition for its age. Please review all the detailed photographs and the video carefully to assess the exact condition before purchasing.
