beautiful electric lamp with a cold painted sculpture of a young neo-Classical style Lady -- she is standing beside a pedestal with an open book on the top: perhaps the Grecian Muse, Clio -- she is mounted on a faux bronze base with winged Griffins at each corner, and has been turned into a lamp--

-- likely dates to the late 1800s -- found reference to this being a work attributed to the studios of Etienne Henri Dumaige (French:1830 - 1888), but it is not signed
-- she was one of a pair as seen in the pictures I've included from another site --

-- she measures 14 3/4 in. tall // about 18 in. including the base  // 28 in. to the top of the harp
 --

--  she was originally 'electrified' through two holes at the back of the base,
ut that lamp stem was apparently used to run from the bottom up through a hole behind her neck, that was likely added after manufacture -- she also has a broken finger [by her chin] and three of the Griffin feet have been repaired --- otherwise some moderate wear to the paint with a little chipping here and there  -- lamp works fine
