Quite rare
Had lots of rust and did not work at all, but since I have:
Upgraded the 1W speaker to a 2W speaker,
Replaced/ treated the battery compartment (tested briefly and now accepts batteries)
Replaced battery release ribbon (not perfect but still better then the old one)
Re-soldered many wires
Cleaned inside and out
Other things to note are that the record player is not connected to the speaker, I have no idea what is causing this but the sound from the needle is okay.
Radio works, but can’t find many stations (am radio is less common nowadays)
Comes with a Euro to UK plug for the mains (again, not great and it’s not very secure) but otherwise wouldn’t be able to connect to mains.
All 3 speeds work.
