This is a DENON DP-3700F record player.
DP-3700F.
The basic operation has been checked and there is no problem with sound output.
The price at that time was 97,000 yen.
There are some scratches on the wooden part of the whole surface, but it is in good condition considering its age.
Please note that I also sell my items elsewhere and may remove them suddenly.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
The DP-3700F has improved anti-vibration performance by improving the cabinet and arm base. The DP-3700F uses the DP-3000 turntable. The DP-3000 uses a direct drive system for the drive system, and DENON's original high-precision magnetic recording and reproduction system is used to detect the rotation speed. The magnetic recording and reproduction method controls the voltage applied to the motor by comparing the voltage obtained from the actual rotation of the turntable with a reference voltage. To obtain the voltage from the turntable, the magnetic head detects the pulses that are magnetically recorded with high precision on the inner circumference of the turntable and converts them into a voltage corresponding to the frequency of the pulses. There are 1000 of these pulses, and the pulse intervals are recorded with an error precision of 1/10000. These pulses enable extremely accurate speed detection and extremely fast and sufficient servo control, keeping wow flutter to less than 0.03%. It also maintains stable rotation even under changing load conditions such as needle pressure.
The servo circuit has sufficient temperature compensation and a built-in DC stabilized power supply. This prevents the rotation speed from being affected by fluctuations in power supply frequency and voltage, as well as temperature changes. A solid rotor type AC servo motor is used as the drive motor. This motor has smoother and less vibration-free rotational characteristics than other synchronous motors and DC motors, and it is driven by AC with a cleanly shaped waveform, so there is almost no rumble.
The speed can be fine-tuned, allowing ±3% adjustment relative to the specified speed. The tone arm section uses the DA-305, a model that conforms to broadcast station specifications. The DA-305 has a laterally balanced S-shape designed for safe use with light needle pressure cartridges. The needle pressure adjustment is a micrometer type direct-reading type from 0 to 1g per revolution, and the cartridge can be used over a wide range from 4g to 15g of dead weight.
