"Pretty Woman" RIAA 2x Platinum Record Award (Richard Gere & Julia Roberts)

RIAA 2X Platinum Record Award for the sales of two million copies of the Pretty Woman movie soundtrack album, cassette, and CD issued by EMI Records, about 17 by 25 inches in a plastic covered wood frame under Plexiglas, in very good condition as the left side of the record is lightly warped.  On the back is a sticker from Ill-Eagle Enterprises that manufactured the award under license from RIAA.  According to RIAA records, the album reached 2 million in sales on September 26, 1990.  The album ultimately sold 3 million copies in the United States which it reached on May 1, 1991, just a little less than a year after the album was released.

The award has some interesting elements. Instead of having just one image of the album cover in the award, there are two images, one for each million copies sold.  Each album cover shows the two stars of the movie, Richard Gere and Julia Roberts.
