Officially, the Rune stoneware set was designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard's eldest son, Anders Quistgaard, as J. H. Quistgaard was only allowed to design for Dansk Desings at that time. In reality, however, it was not his son who drew Rune. The runic pattern consists of horizontal lines interrupted by a diamond-shaped relief with green glaze.
