BELL & HOWELL Autoload Model 340 Vintage Camera 40mm f/3.5 Lens & Kodak 414 Inst
Here are two vintage cameras:
1) Bell & Howell Autoload 340:
From the innerwebs: this camera was originally marketed in July 1966, made in Japan for export only.
"This mass-market, instamatic camera was made for Bell & Howell in
the U.S. under an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) contract.
It had Canon’s electronically-controlled program shutter and a 40mm
f/3.5 lens with 3 elements in 3 groups. Fully-automatic program EE was
incorporated for exposure control. For focusing, pictographs for near,
medium, and far subject distances were used."
2) Kodak Instamatic 414:
Similar to the Instamatic 314, but with the addition of a clockwork film wind mechanism. Made between 1968 and 1971 - if you're looking for a period prop! 41 mm lens - originally listed for $48 back in the day - wow, seems like a lot!
As for condition, the cameras are 60+ years old - I can't say for certain that they work - (I have no film) - though all the mechanisms appear to. Also, they come in a black case - the strap on one side of the case broke as I was writing this listing - so I don't have a photo of that.
The case plus the two cameras weighs 1 lb 14.4 oz prior to wrapping and shipping - comes to you in a small box shipped via USPS Ground Advantage.
Thanks for the looky-loo!
