Epiphone Casino Made in Japan w/gig bag USED
Description
Good Condition! w/gig bag
Manufactured in 1989. This is a Japanese-made "CASINO" with an orange label and a 5-digit serial number. It features a 3-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, Japanese-made P-90 type pickups, and Kluson-type tuners. The nut width is approximately 40mm, giving it a slim grip. It's a solidly built instrument, typical of Japanese craftsmanship.
Repair history includes replacement of the switch, 4 pots, 2 capacitors, and jack, with the electronics being updated with more recent parts.
Cosmetically, there is some paint clouding on the headstock, as well as other paint chips, discoloration, dents, and scratches.
The neck is currently almost straight, and while the truss rod is stiff, it can still be tightened about 45 degrees. The frets have indentations under the strings, with approximately 60% remaining in worn areas. Used strings: 010-046.
The original gig bag is included, but one zipper pull is missing. There are also tears inside. Adjusted.
