Here for your consideration is this very nice, lower-mileage, refinished original used 1986 Dodge pickup truck hood secondary (safety) catch (latch) mechanism, with bolts.   This gets attached to the front center underside of your hood, and prevents the hood from dangerously flying up in the even your primary hood latch doesn't get latched fully or would fail.   I believe this latch / catch mechanism (with bolts) was used on 1981-93 Dodge (Ram) pickup trucks, Dodge Ramchargers, and possibly Plymouth Trail Dusters also, but please look pictures here over carefully, then do your own comparison and research, to be sure this is the correct piece for your vehicle, before bidding on it.    This was a pretty clean original  piece, stored away inside on the shelf for many years, that was recently given a bead blasting down to clean bare metal, then primed and painted in a satin finish Gunmetal Gray finish, that is similar to the original factory plating Dodge put on these.   Not pitted, damaged, or worn.  A very nice looking and nice operating piece, ready to go right out of the box!  If you are into date codes, this one has a date code on the "fang" hanging down that reads:  200 85.  Doesn't matter to all the rest of you.   Be sure to put in that good bid today at my realistic price on this very nice, ready to go piece!  Thanks for stopping in to look and bid!
