A guitar manufacturer that has continuously produced highly original instruments, such as those with engraved metal fronts and those with abundant use of shell in pearl fronts, carrying on a long and distinguished lineage.

This instrument is the ZEMAITIS "THE PORTRAIT Metal Front HISASHI Signature Model Natural," based on a 1990s model owned by HISASHI, the guitarist of GLAY, one of Japan's leading rock bands.

The body top features a ZEMAITIS signature engraved duralumin top. The delicate engraving covers the entire surface, giving it a unique presence.

The body and neck are made of a single piece of selected mahogany, and finished with lacquer. It boasts a rich mid-low range and sustain that brings out the natural resonance of the wood.

Compared to existing models, the body shape has a slightly wider upper bow and a lower top arch. It reproduces the unique silhouette and playability close to HISASHI's beloved instrument.

The neck area is packed with meticulous details, including an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and a scalloped bone nut. Furthermore, the thin neck shape and 635mm scale length provide excellent playability and smooth fingering.

The headstock features Zemaitis' signature arrow design, and the unique layout with slant-mounted machine heads is also a distinctive feature. The tuners are reliable "GOTOH" locking tuners, ensuring stable tuning for stage use.

Two Lindy Fralin Pure P.A.F pickups are mounted. These pickups are characterized by a natural, three-dimensional tone reminiscent of vintage PAFs, and are versatile enough to handle a wide range of tones from clean to overdrive.

The controls include two volume, two tone, a 3-way toggle switch, and a coil-tap switch. A dummy toggle switch is also included, faithfully reproducing the unique control layout of HISASHI's actual instrument. The selector switch also features a short-stroke design for quick switching.

A special guitar that combines traditional craftsmanship with HISASHI's meticulous attention to detail, meticulously pursuing the specifications of his own instrument. A model that offers high satisfaction both as a collector's item and as a practical stage guitar.
