Duesenberg Starplayer w/hard case USED
Description
Good Condition! w/hard case
Manufactured in 2000. This is a Duesenberg from Germany. In Japan, it's perhaps best known for being used by Ringo Shiina. It's a Starplayer in the same green color. Later models had "II" or "TV" designations, but since there's no number on the label, it's likely the first generation model.
The pickup configuration is a humbucker-sized single-coil in the front and a semi-open humbucker in the rear. The controls are simple: a 3-way selector, volume, and tone. It features a Bigsby-type tremolo unit, producing a smooth vibrato and a stylish look.
There's some crackling in the tone knob. Overall, there's some yellowing due to age, and the metal parts and plating are tarnished and peeling. However, there's no significant damage, and considering its age, it's in beautiful condition. The only accessory is the hard case; there are no original documents.
