This vintage TOASTSWELL chrome toaster with levers and knobs made from Bakelite was produced in the art deco period in the 1930s.It's made by The Utility Company of St. Louis, MO.the catalog NO is 791. There is a feature on the side which can turn the bread lighter or darker to your preferance.and a brown release lever which can pull up the bread as well. On the bottom there is also another High/Low lift mechanism.
I have polished the outside but not the inside. It is also is missing the power cord. I have sent a video so you can hear that it still ticks on its way up and the brown lever needs to be pushed to pop the bread out. Please feel free to ask me any questions!
