A 1998 Gibson Custom Shop Byrdland has arrived!!

The Byrdland was born in 1955 as Gibson's first archtop electric guitar.

The model name is a combination of the names of country and rockabilly guitarists Billy Byrd and Hank Garland.

It features a thin body and short scale, based on the company's L-5CES.

It's a comfortable size to hold and play.

There is some weather checking due to age from the back of the headstock to the back of the nut, and a slight step has formed in the crack near the back of the nut.

Also, there are two places where the strap pin position was changed by the previous owner, a hole in the neck joint, and a slotted screw installed on the left side of the body.

Overall, there are significant signs of use, but after arrival, a professional repair technician checked and adjusted the guitar, and it is in good playing condition.
