  • WB24x830 door interlock switch works in conjunction with microwave operation.
  • The switch will prohibit the microwave from starting when the microwave door is open.
  • Typically if the light & turntable works or the fan & display (countdown) works but the oven doesn't heat, it is most likely because a door switch has gone bad.
  • Works with the following models: General Electric CVM2072SM1SS, EVM1750DMBB01, EVM1750DMWW01, EVM1750SMSS01,JE1540AW02.

How to replace WB24X830 Switch?

  • Unplug the microwave power at first.
  • Open the microwave door, remove the grill through taking off two screws at the grill top;
  • Remove the screw on the left holding the control panel in place, loosen the screw behind the panel, lift the panel up and pull forward to detach.
  • Find the door switch by removing the screws to detach the switch assembly.
  • Press on the release tab to remove the middle switch.
  • Disconnect the wire connector to release the old switch.

This switch fixes the following symptoms:

  • Doesn’t shut off
  • Won’t turn on
  • No heat

Notice:

Be certain they are sufficient amperage rated and correct type (NC vs NO) to match originals. One can also use SPDT switches if only the appropriate NC or NO terminal is connected.
