Carp Catchers Fluo Snail Shell Wafters

This bait is made in the original shape of a snail shell: it's conical, with a wide base that gradually tapers upward. The sides are grooved, giving the bait a truly snail-like appearance. It's not a mini-bait: the bait measures 10mm or 15mm in height and 12mm in base diameter.

Compared to a pop-up, the Wafter has a slight buoyancy that remains stable over a long period. This allows it to be used confidently as a standalone bait. Although the Wafter's buoyancy is minimal compared to a pop-up, it's significant enough to allow a 15x12 snail to hook a #6 hook.

This is a relatively large bait, designed for active fish. Hooks that are convenient to use with this bait are #6 and #4.

For a neutral presentation, where the bait floats and the hook lies on the bottom, we recommend using bait screws.

For a stinger presentation when fishing with a classic hair hook, a #6 hook is suitable.

With a #4 hook, a hair presentation is achieved with the hook at an angle or almost lying down.
