The textblock is the strong point of this copy. It is in good, readable condition and without apparent marks/notations. The first ten (adverts) and last eight pages (silhouettes) are rough. Several of these suffer some loss. The pages are moderately toned. The front and back covers are bumped, rubbed, faded and shelf worn. There is a faint cup ring dead center. A number of the gutters have had repairs and some tears have been archivally taped. A long ago (50 years?) replacement of the spine was not well done. It has just been reinforced but remains the aesthetic weak point of the book. The tabs were long ago re lettered with a marker (see pic). #487.
