This is a old jewelry box, that likely is a Charles. S Beller, copycat and or legitimat e jewelry box. We have done extensive research on the crests/heralding on the bottom of it, It ap pears that it could have been a illegitimate, sterling silver copycat, that would have been sold and been illegal Somewhere over in the United Kingdom. If that is not accurate, this is a mid-centu y USA made jewelry box, it is worth noting that this is not silver, nor are we selling it as silver or Sterling silver. It is copper with a nickel plating. It is in beautiful condition. There is a hinge mount that is popped off of the solder. Can be redone by someone that is very handy with a little Torch. I am seling it in as found condition.
