The HPS Performance Charge Pipe Kit, part number 17-133, is a high-quality aftermarket upgrade designed specifically for the Civic Type R. This kit is engineered to replace the factory charge pipe system, providing significant performance improvements for your vehicle. With a larger 2.5-inch diameter on the cold side and a 2.25-inch diameter on the hot side, the enhanced airflow and reduced restriction increases the engine output by 13 horsepower and 16.6 lb-ft of torque, resulting in improved throttle response, acceleration, and overall engine performance.
Constructed with durability in mind, the HPS Performance Charge Pipe Kit is made from 6061 mandrel-bent aluminum to withstand high temperatures and pressure levels, delivering long-lasting performance and resistance to cracking or leaking even under the most demanding driving conditions. To facilitate the installation of sensors and other accessories, a 1/8" NPT bung is included into the design of the upper cold-side charge pipe.
