Rare Gilt Art Deco Bookend by Ronson Art Metal Works Chinese Child circa 1920s–1930s

Cast in metal and finished in gold gilt, this vintage gilt metal bookend features a Chinese child looking over a book.

In good preowned vintage condition with age appropriate wear and patina, including scratches and scuffs. This is a two-piece book end, whereas the boy was screwed to the base and he is a little loose. Unknown kind of metal, but it is not magnetic.
