The Breitling Chronomat B01 42 is a modern interpretation of the model that marked Breitling’s return to mechanical chronographs in 1984. Originally developed alongside the Frecce Tricolori Italian aerobatic team, the Chronomat quickly became one of Breitling’s most recognisable sports watches, combining robust construction with a distinctive rider-tab bezel and integrated bracelet design. This 42mm stainless steel model features a clean black dial with contrasting chronograph registers and the signature rouleaux-style bracelet that defines the contemporary Chronomat collection. Powered by the Breitling Manufacture Calibre B01, the watch offers precise chronograph functionality and an impressive 70-hour power reserve, while maintaining 200 metres of water resistance for true everyday sports watch capability.
