CASE:

The case to this beautiful rare watch is thick quality stainless steel. This is a very high quality screw back watch case. The case back has NO inscriptions. It is in very nice condition showing only a little normal usage wear and tear for its 50+ years of age. The rest of the case only shows the odd tiny nick and extremely light mark.  I have gently polished the case, and it is shining nicely. THE WATCH MEASURES just under 2.4CMS (24mm) IN DIAMETER which is large for a lady's watch. The inside of the back cover is fully marked for ZENITH.

DIAL:

This beautiful collectible watch has its stunningly beautiful original white dial. It is fully signed 'ZENITH’ ‘AUTOMATIC’ and SWISS MADE. It has NO hairlines or damage and is in good condition with a darkening between 11 and 12. It has lovely sharp and crisp Arabic raised applied baton numerals which are in excellent condition. The plexi crystal is  new and as such is in minty condition. The black steel watch hands are in good condition showing a little oxidisation. This is a superb dial on a superb ZENITH wristwatch.

MOVEMENT:

This is a stunningly beautiful minty Swiss made AUTOMATIC wind ETA movement for ZENITH IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. This lovely movement has been timed and oiled by my watchmaker. It runs very well and winds and sets smoothly. It keeps very good time as tested over a 24 hour period. The crown is original and is fully signed and is in very good condition.

BAND:

This superb watch has its ORIGINAL steel ZENITH signed tapering band. The band is in good condition showing normal usage wear and works as it should. It has a fold over clasp. I estimate that it will fit up to a 6 and a ¼ inch wrist comfortably. Links can be taken out to make it smaller.

PAPERWORK:

This lovely watch is accompanied by its original guarantee paperwork dated to 1973.

Please remember that vintage watches have survived for many decades by being treated well. Vintage watches are not for wearing while doing yard work, working out, or swimming. Vintage watches cannot keep time like their quartz cousins and will need altering on average between +-2 to +-5 mins per day. They are a little more destructible than modern watches. Vintage watches also require periodic service and cleaning. Every couple of years, they would like their 20,000 mile checkup, oil change, and general service. By taking care of your vintage watch, you will have years of great service, and a quality heirloom to pass to another generation.
