Description:     A very good, original, clean antique book throughout - very good for its age - see details.    Internally:   Complete and intact with 635 clean gilt-edged pages of poetry including a glossary. A nice frontis of Robert Burns (see scan). Strong, intact binding and clean throughout with no writing, markings etc.  Strong, pale-blue, marbleised end papers and secure hinges.   Externally:  Strong, black leather boards with clear gilt titling to the front and spine (see scans). There are some frays and finger wear to the spine. A good, clean and authoritative account of these famous poetical works and notes, offered at a bargain price which should interest students, enthusiasts and collectors/dealers etc.

Robert Burns, also known familiarly as Rabbie Burns, was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide.
