Being offered is this Imperial Glass Avocado Green Cake Plate Vintage Tableware. It is in very nice used condition. I’m not seeing any chips or cracks. When looking down on top, you see the lines from the mold and I also do pick up what I believe there are several straw marks. One near the underneath of the pedestal, and the other on top near the edge. Both you can feel with your fingernail, but both are smooth and rounded and that’s why I believe it is a straw mark. not seeing any deep or major use marks. It probably could use a good detailed cleaning as there is some soiling that appears to be underneath in the pressed glass area. This has the imperial logo underneath.

This vintage Imperial Glass Fashion cake plate in bold avocado green is a true mid-century statement piece. With its intricate pressed-glass pattern, scalloped edge, and pedestal base, perfect for serving cakes or adding a pop of holiday vintage charm to your table.

Founded in 1901 by Edward Muhleman, the Imperial Glass Company began production in Bellaire, Ohio, in 1904. Best known for its iconic Candlewick pattern and beautifully crafted tableware, Imperial became a household name in American glassmaking. After changing hands and eventually closing in 1984, the factory was demolished in 1995—but the artistry lives on, celebrated today at the National Imperial Glass Museum in Bellaire.

Imperial Glass introduced the Fashion pattern around 1908, offering both Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) and carnival glass styles. Its intricate design mimicked the brilliance of fine cut crystal, achieved through masterful pressed-glass techniques.
