This is a .hack//ENEMY Distortion Terajima Ryoko Starter Set published by Decipher Inc. The outer box may have been opened — the top hanger tab shows light creasing and handling wear consistent with the box having been removed from retail display — but the cards inside remain sealed in their original packaging and have not been played. The box itself shows minor corner and edge wear typical for an item of this age (circa 2004) but is otherwise intact and display-worthy. No staining, tears, or crushing visible. Contents appear complete. A great pickup for .hack fans and CCG collectors — the Distortion set is out of print and increasingly difficult to find in any sealed condition.
.hack//ENEMY is the trading card game set in the world of .hack, the beloved early-2000s anime and PS2 RPG franchise. Published by Decipher Inc. — known for the Star Trek and Lord of the Rings CCGs — .hack//ENEMY pits players as monsters battling player characters in "The World," a fictional MMORPG set in 2010. The Distortion expansion introduced new mechanics including logging in/logging out, new PC characters including Tsukasa, and new monster species. The Terajima Ryoko starter is a 60-card pre-constructed deck built around the Terajima Ryoko character, and includes five premium foil cards, a playmat, and a rulebook. This is an out-of-print collectible from a beloved but short-lived TCG line with a dedicated fanbase.
