Fender Japan ETL83-98 USED

Description

Good Condition!
We've just received the extremely rare 1983 ETL83-98 model, which is now practically impossible to find! This Fender Japan-manufactured version of the Elite Telecaster was part of Fender's ambitious "Elite Series" of models released in 1983. A key feature was its original active preamp system, which offered fat midrange with TBX and MDX tone controls, noiseless pickups, and other cutting-edge technology at the time. This Japanese-made instrument incorporates all of these features, and was a key model from the beginning, featuring CTS potentiometers. Enjoy the unique, boomy sound of a Telecaster!

There are noticeable scratches and dents throughout the neck. The truss rod works well, with ample room for adjustment in both forward and backward bow directions.
The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod, but there is a slight waviness overall.
While this can be compensated for to some extent by adjusting the settings, some buzz may be present depending on how you play.
The frets have been worn down and are relatively flat, but this does not interfere with playability.

Weight: Approximately 4.0 kg
