The product is a handcrafted ivory inlaid Anglo Indian octagonal table from the 19th century. This unique piece of furniture exudes quality craftsmanship and elegance, making it a standout addition to any antique or traditional decor. The intricate design and vintage aesthetic of this table make it a standout piece for those looking for a distinctive and timeless piece of furniture for their home. The handcrafted 24" tall table has a 24"diameter top octagonal and collapsible folding base. The decorative ivory inlay compliments the beautiful rosewood constructed table. There is an ivory design which leads down the sides of the table's folding base. This piece has the quality of Moorish influence. Although the base folds, once the top is placed into position the table becomes stable and rigid for use. This decorative table is in very good condition for its age but there is a minor crack on a panel shown in photo#6. This defect does not go through the wood of the panel. Atop of the table is a seam which is difficult to disguish if it was done by the workmanship of the craftsman. I do not see any evidence of this being repaired damage to the table. My opinion is that this is the intentional work of the maker.
There are some areas of yellowing color on the ivory inlay. I have heard of different ways to brighten the ivory although, I've never attempted the process.
