This is the Alarm.com version of the SkyBell HD round video doorbell. The Alarm.com WIFI doorbell camera is equipped with proprietary firmware that grants it access to the Alarm.com ecosystem. This means that you can add this gorgeous 1080P HD doorbell cam to your existing Alarm.com compatible security system and trigger notifications on a single, integrated app.

The Alarm.com WIFI doorbell camera does require power and a 2.4GHz WIFI connection. If there is an existing hardwired doorbell chime that is recommended for power. If there is no existing wired chime you can configure a standalone 24VAC transformer or 12VDC adapter. If you choose a standalone setup there must be a 10 ohm, 10 watt resistor in series on one wire at the doorbell. The transformer is not included.
