Extrema Ratio RAO N690 Italian Military Survival Tactical Folding Knife
New open box.
The Extrema Ratio RAO is a heavy-duty tactical folding knife developed specifically for the 185th Paratroopers Reconnaissance Target Acquisition Regiment “Folgore,” an Italian Army special forces reconnaissance unit. In 2006 the regiment asked Extrema Ratio to design a knife suited to their operational needs. The result was the RAO, built as a robust survival and field knife featuring an additional locking pin that can secure the blade and allow the folder to function almost like a fixed blade in demanding conditions.
Constructed with a black finished Böhler N690 stainless steel tanto blade and black anodized aluminum handles, the RAO is known for its exceptional durability and overbuilt construction. The knife also includes a MOLLE-compatible nylon sheath system designed for field carry.
