This is in very good to excellent used condition. The ball is reasonably smooth for a lower price head. It is 3.25" tall at the top of the QR plate. The base is just under 2.5" diameter. The QR plates are about 2X1.25. I would not be afraid to use this with a lightweight DSLR or 35mm film camera. This has a bottom thread 1/4-20.
