What's changing in the EU:

  • From 1 July 2026: The EU is removing the duty-free exemption for parcels valued at ?150 or less. A flat customs duty of ?3 per product category will apply.
  • From 1 November 2026: An additional EU handling fee (around ?2) is expected to be introduced, bringing the total to roughly ?5 per product category.

*Please note this charge is per product category (HS tariff heading), not per item: several of the same product count as one category, while different categories are charged separately.

So at delivery, you may be asked to pay the following before your parcel is released:

  • VAT (as applies in your country)
