From its beginnings as a squadron of American volunteers during the 1920 Russo-Polish War, 

through the 1939 Blitzkrieg in Poland, the Campaign in France to establishment as an RAF squadron in Britain.

The squadron’s history is chronicled in the form of a war diary, illustrated with over

900 well-captioned photos, and biographies of noted personnel along with their

victory claims.
