Large decorative dish in golden iridescent black enameled ceramic, sign Verceram, factory located in Montreuil, near Paris, active from the 1930s to the early 1970s.
This factory started with parts d 'Art Deco influence like this one,, and continued in the 50s and 60s to create ceramics with modernist, more refined forms, often enhanced by metallic enamels with changing reflections.
This model presents a openwork decor symmetrical, inspired by stylized geometric patterns typical of the 30s and 40s. The iridescent black glaze, with golden and bronze reflections, gives the piece a deep and singular shine depending on the light.
The bottom bears the Verceram France stamp hollow.
