CMI Electronics SG-812 Powered PA Mixer Black

Somebody has to be pleasantly surprised to see one of these! This PA system has been around my family for as long as I remember. Even as a kid doing band gigs, we had one of these to run our mics off of, and even a guitar or two. This battle horse offered here is perfectly 100% working. It is super silent, no scratchy knobs or pots, still sounds like butter after all the years, and warms my soul every time I strum the strings I recognize how great this system is.

This PA head was a collaboration of Standel and Gibson (SG) some 50 plus years ago. If you already know what this is, and are coveting this as a collector, please understand that this thing weights 35-40 lbs., and is prone to the hazards of shipping old music equipment this heavy.  So I am most preferably looking for a LOCAL trading partner, here in Colorado with the ability to pick this up and drive it home.  Thus, I set the price low accordingly... to avoid shipping.
