This is an authentic vintage wool trench coat
from the highly sought-after Jean Paul GAULTIER FEMME
archive collection. It was meticulously manufactured
in Japan by Onward Kashiyama during
the 1990s to early 2000s, guaranteeing exceptional
tailoring and quality. Made of 100% pure wool
with a smooth polyester lining, this beige coat
features a classic double-breasted design complete
with epaulettes and a matching waist belt,
creating the beautifully structured silhouette that Gaultier is famous for.
The coat is labeled as a Japanese women's size 42.
Based on the actual flat measurements,
the shoulder width is approximately 45 cm,
the chest width is 64 cm, and the total length
from the collar down is 96 cm.
Please check these measurements carefully to ensure a good fit.
It remains in great vintage condition,
but please note there is a single,
very faint spot approximately 8mm in diameter
on the interior lining of the back. Since it is on the inside,
it is completely unnoticeable when worn
and does not affect the stunning exterior appearance.
Additionally, please understand that as a pre-owned item,
it originally carried a perfume scent from
its previous owner. We have recently had the main coat
professionally dry-cleaned, which has successfully
removed most of the scent. However, because
the matching waist belt could not be dry-cleaned,
the belt still retains some of the perfume fragrance.
We recommend airing it out further
if you are highly sensitive to scents. This is a rare
opportunity to own a timeless masterpiece
of Japanese-made high fashion.
